SFR-006: Axe Man
No bio's or serial numbers for these guys afaik but it's been a long time coming. Aside from other Projects, I'll be drawing the Robot Masters from Mega Man Super Fighting Robot, a fangame that is solid all around. Axe Man has to be one of the harder bosses in the game because he can attack you in many ways, even by him jumping can hurt. Anyway, I'll be posting more art soon so be on the look out. Enjoy.

I have an idea for a robot master based on excavators, earth drills, and ferrocrushers. His Weapon is Drill Blade, which is where he unsheathes a sword with a drill the size of the drill on Drill Man's head (but 25 times longer & 20 times bigger) and the length of Cloud Strife's Buster Sword and either slashes 3 time at close range or charges at Mega Man from far away as the drill spins. His name is Excavator Man. Can you draw him for me please?

He seems like a kind of boss I would struggle with even while having the weakness. But I like him due to him talking like Axe from Dota2 in my headcanon.

Oh cool! Love the orc theme! I thought he looked kind of like a knight at first because of the emblem. Looks kind of regal. Or maybe a barbarian. But orc makes more sense. I really like that angle, with the shoulders almost lining up. Wish the weapon was bigger though. But I guess that's just how he's designed.

No problem! Haven't really taken the time to look through dA as of late beyond just checking on art uploads and whatnot.

I found that Axe Man actually had one of the more consistent patterns in the game, and once you figured it out, you could fight him relatively seamlessly. The problem with him is the sheer amount of damage each attack does.
Wizard Man and Trash Man had much less consistent patters that were much more difficult to deal with.

Yeah, still haven't mastered Axe. As for Wizard, I liked his fight. You just need to be able to react to his attacks and not rely on him having a pattern. But yeah, I'd say Trash gave me the most troubles doing a buster only run.

Trash Man remains the only one I haven't been able to beat in a no-hit run on Insane mode.. for the boss rush. At least with the standard 8 robot masters (some of those EXTRA bosses are.. tricky).

Weird how you didn't decided to focus on his Axe in this pose. Would've made more sense, quite frankly.

Atfirst I wanted to show him swinging his axe to his back with a speed trail following. The problem is that each one I made looked awkward so I omitted it.
