- I ordered a rubber stock brace that I slide on before shooting. Keeps my shoulder from getting bruised. I also own the 9mm made by Kel-tec. Both fold for easy backpack carry. I ordered several 31 round mags and some 15 round mags before making my final payment. These Kel-tec sub2000 are very popular so grab them and extra mags when they are available.

Only those Sub-2000 rifles manufactured in 2017 are affected. Owners of guns made that year should discontinue use immediately and visit the company’s special web page to determine if their firearm is subject to the recall. Simply enter your gun’s serial number in the indicated field to ascertain whether the questionable component was used in its construction. A complete list of serial numbers has also been made available (pdf). Kel-Tec will replace the tube for free and cover expenses associated with the improvement, including shipping.
The chart below shows the approximate first serial number shipped for the indicated year. This number should be used as a point of reference only. It is not necessarily the very first serial number shipped, but it can be used to determine the approximate year your Ruger firearm was shipped.
